Amphibian studies were conducted in CrocBank from 1989-1991 by Dr. Indraneil Das, Scientific Officer at CrocBank, leading to a doctoral degree at Oxford University. The topic of research was the world’s only leaf-eating frog, Rana hexadactyla. (This was featured in BBC Wildlife Magazine in 1996).
